Audio-vizuális eszközöket is használó zenei performanszunkban három hangszeres művész színészként is jelen van a színpadon. Három színpadi karakter: a zeneszerző, a feleség és a múzsa árnyképe és hangja hozza létre a narratívát, amelyet a zenészek mozgással és színpadi koreográfiával is alakítanak. Az előadás egy koncert keretét tágítja olyan közléstérré, amelyben képi és hangi formákban a zeneművekhez kapcsolódó további tartalmak jelennek meg.
A Metrum Trió+ fő profilját tükröző produkció klasszikus zene és színház ötvözése tánccal és vetítéssel. Haydn kompozíciói, reneszánsz, barokk és kortárs zeneművek mellett részletek hangzanak el Esterházy Péter 33 változat Haydn koponyára című drámájából, Tóth Kinga All Machine című versciklusából, Szentkuthy Miklós, valamint az előadás alkotóinak saját szövegeiből.

Not a concert. Not a play. An encounter.
Three musicians enter the stage not merely as performers, but as spirits of Music. The composer, his wife, and his muse come alive through sound, shadow, and voice. Each instrumental line becomes a gesture; each movement of the body extends the music into space.
This is not Haydn as you have heard him before. This is Haydn reimagined as an intimate drama: music dissolves into theatre, instruments speak as voices, and silence takes shape as shadow. The performance unfolds as a dialogue between sound and image, between history and imagination, between past and present.
Reflecting the main profile of Metrum Trio+, the production combines classical music and theatre. In addition to Haydn’s compositions, Renaissance, Baroque and contemporary music, there will be excerpts from Péter Esterházy’s drama 33 Versions on Haydn’s Skull, Kinga Tóth’s poetry cycle All Machine, Miklós Szentkuthy and texts by the creators of the performance.
